In the Verb of Centuries

In the Verb of Centuries The rousing streams of life incite the riddle the running path has closeted a breaking surface of sublime enchanting what clues this sphere of chaos may contrive to contain the finger of God and such elemental forces in secret would endeavour to explain Scintillating disc of love scattered so in the Elysium the desert sands of your dunes of time utter such questions to what end have you embarked on this route of joy and pain what love encompasses natures apparent indifference to this single grain spinning here in space The ark of your breast is the assurance brought forth from light this shadow cast in the annals of time is of ape in hope and toil entwined is mankind’s question uttered perpetually The tissue of perception folds into the conceptions of reason yet our formation is stone and our birth in dust is a knowledge of granite and a slow reverie that is fluent awareness bestows the gift of the infinite inspires us beyond the frontiers How long now the garden left untended too long we prey and pray we are lonely children to bored with ourselves to play The waking streams of life have breathed their mysteries of beginning what clues this sphere of bright green blue may contrive to embody it has already given up to our enlightening they equal only mans endeavour of discovering

Is this "In The Verb" or "In The Vowels" as you show both ... doesn't really matter since you have lots of both ... LOL ... but you don't have to repeat the title at the beginning of the poem as its automatically done within The Soup ...

Wonderful write here, Colin but don't forget to always include the "Form" when you post a write ... This would be "Free Verse" (which you have to backspace above on the form section to find). I can't thank you enough for reading all the poems of mine that you commented on. I went back and read them too ... smile ... and it was like visiting old friends. Thanks again.
