Imprints

I stepped in the snow Not thinking of the imprint I would leave Just as any action can do Or who may come along to see my footprint Every move made, leads to something else Whether it be impact to ourselves Or to another person I step forward when storms take over life Wind may numb the skin Just from knowledge, not ready to accept But, there’s always a path to choose With decisions to make As to what kind of imprints are left behind Heidi Sands 1/12/21

WoW! Heidi, I found this deep and thought-provoking. I agree with your message. Every move one makes leads to something. And storms of life will come; however, the choices we make after the storm is vital. Excellent write. It's going straight into my favs. Have a great day. PS, I hope the New Year is going well for you this far:-) Alexis

Heidi, Very nice concept for the storms that come in life. To only leave fond imprints, in kindness. Still, I liked Nancy when she sang 'These boots are made for walkin...' -Richard
