Two simple words, three small syllables – I wait, drained, too tired for sleep or dreams about dreams. Rose petals feel like thorns. You’re not remorseful. I’m the one sorry, drained. for Kim's Shall We Waltz Contest, 6/11/15

Very powerful message dear. There are people who never believe they have done something wrong...and thus, will never apologize. What can one do, but....hope for healing. Well written....Hugs

Thanks for the support, sweetie. You're right, we can't look to others for apologies or healing. If it's not heartfelt, an apology is meaningless anyway. Sometimes, I have to pick myself up, dust-off and walk away. When I really love someone, it's much harder. Hugs back to you, Rhonda
