I'M Ready

I understand I have an angel. Who could it be? This means I am never alone. My angel is with me. Isn't that so comforting? To never be alone. To have a being who never will let me be forlorn. When I die I need not fear. They will take my hand. Reassure me as they lead me to the promised land. Mum and Dad and Aunty Nin. Arms open wide. In the realm of God. Forever by his side. Those we leave behind will cry, and shed bitter tears. Isn't it a shame we cannot allay their fears? I believe there is a God. We each are but a speck. Buf if each speck has an angel. Then what the heck. I'm ready.

This poem came to me last night after chatting online with an alien from Ishtar, now living his 1,112th life in Cork. Just like me, searching for a mate on a dating website. We had such fun.

My Guardian Angel has a large bruise on his forehead from banging his head against a wall, Jean..... By the way, when my Dad died, my Mum jokingly said that now his Guardian Angel was unemployed, maybe it could pop back and let her know that her husband was alright. The next morning while Mum was at the kitchen sink, a saucepan lid flew across the room and hit the cupboard door next to her. She wept. True story. Viv x

How wonderous Viv. They say all you have to do is ask and the angel will gladly oblige.
