Im Not Always Wrong
I’M NOT ALWAYS WRONG
The diamond glistens from dreamy eyes.
I listen to love talk - don’t tell me no lies.
Encircled with peaches and pine - you’re mine.
As you strum with a beat, my heart’s just fine.
Those strings don’t mean a thing to my fingers.
The thump of my heart on the hardwood lingers.
My ears, yet entwined, with your pretty song.
You’re Mr. right and I’m not always wrong.
