I'M Just Getting Started

There is a song 
Within the human voice
A song that speaks of endeavoring beyond
The limits we all have in place
To test the meaning of our mettle
To strive and push for the elements
That define our spirit
Lest we forget who we are

A song of discovery in the face of being lost
A song of triumph in the face of failure
A song of strength in the face of hardship
Of determination in the face of fear
A song of faith in the heart of treachery
A song of ourselves as we sing aloud
"I'm just getting started"
For my road is empty without my attempt

My worth is naught unless it is challenged
By the choices that are mine
