I'M a Survivor
They say you escape death six times
in your life time
I beg to differ
I survived the birth canal
growing up int the 70's
eating off the land
eating cat food
eating mud pies
I've survived child birth
stitches
stretch marks
surgery
iv's
working in factories
a hospital
fast food restaurants,
but no one's really prepared me
to suvrive life in general
waking up and breathing is a gift
a gift some people mis-use
by drugs, making the wrong decisions
or just not living
I choose to survive everyday
to enjoy life and all it's greatness
I choose to survive the bad,
sad and happiness
Because I'm a Survivor
