Illusion

ILLUSION After all the times have passed, The imprints remain engraved. As the sun rises up to shine its power; The stars fear, tremble and cower. You knew the time would come, When you join it's power, When the world doesn't cry But sing to your Honour. The day came like a blink, like a wisp. Still fathom the depth How deep it left scorched in my thoughts. Mercy to sun, for the power i showed, Like arrogant and pompous, after the Grandeur endured I sit in the dark and deliberate my time. Was it my fault, I outgrew the sun? Had my rejoice ring through the streets? Alas! It was a world unknown to the world. It was my Illusion.
