I'Ll Be a Statue In Her Heart

I’ll make my own statue as a great, great lover, yet not with bricks, cement, sand, nor by hiring sculptors to complete it in a day, month, or ten years, nor in a public place for passersby to see, for I know cement, bricks, sand can’t read my great love, nor do I trust sculptors, for I know how one mocked at Ozymandias, nor in a public place, for I practically fear of my statue being littered by crows, vultures and being wetted by street dogs, so I’ll make my own statue, in all my life, in her heart, only in her heart, only with love, love, love, love — oozing, soothing LOVE.
