If You Only, Only, Only Knew
If you only, only, only knew
how very, very much I do
love, love, love, love, love, love you
over, under, round and through.
If you only, only, only knew.
If you even had the slightest clue.
You must know for I am stuck like glue
and our youthful years are growing few.
If you only, only, only knew
what magic there was we could brew
among the snowdrops and the dew
from winter and the summer too.
If you only, only, only knew
everything I say is true
we’ve got to start this love anew
and end these days of being blue.
