Pantoum
A poem with a verse form consisting of three or more stanzas. It has a set pattern within the poem of repetitive lines. The pattern in each stanza is where the second and fourth line of each verse is repeated as the first and third of the next. The pattern changes though for the last stanza to the first and third line are the second and fourth of the stanza above (penultimate). The last line is a repeat of the first line of the poem and the third line of the first is the second of the last.

If we had never met, it's frightening to imagine what my life would be like it's such an impossible thought. It's frightening to imagine, how different my life would be it's such an impossible thought you mean everything to me. How different my life would be if destiny had not brought us together, you mean everything to me you're my one reason for living. If destiny had not brought us together it's incomprehensible, you're my one reason for living I'd have missed out on loving you. It's incomprehensible, what my life would be like, I'd have missed out on loving you if we had never met. (Pantoum) 02/24/2020
