If They Knew
I’m honey love and sweetie sweet
On the outside.
I’m pink ice cream and rainbow sprinkles.
I’m a party, ready to throw confetti at a glance.
She’s so happy, they say.
So glad, so kind, so wonderfully selfless.
She’ll do anything for anybody.
She’s the best.
If they knew what I’ve been plotting
They’d cart me away today
In handcuffs.
