If There Were
If there were no such thing as shadows and darkness,
Our precious sight would be blinded by so much light...
God... He only allows evil to exist,
Because He knows what is "best".
Like the yin and yang; this Universe
Neds a balanced scale.
We cannot have air without
These sinfully contaminated waters.
We cannot have (cannot achieve) true happiness
Without pain and suffering.
(We shall all be set free some day.)
If there were no devil,
We wouldn't make any mistakes
To learn from.
The father of lies is that darkness
That resides within our minds.
We breathe the air to live,
And then we go to that Holy Place,
Our wings will appear and we fly through that same air.
Yet, not matter where we exist...
The two greatest alliances
Duel and fight in a celestial war.
Though these Great Leaders fight...
He, The One who is Right,
Is wise enough (on certain days) to be showing us
What would happen...
If there were too much or too little of anything.
He uses the light and darkness
To help us live and learn.
Most of all, we cannot spiritually evolve
Without His Great Love...
This [His] Universe [Unity]
Needs a balanced mix of things,
So then... imagine if there were either
No God or even no darkness
And see how the world would be
If there were no balance.
