If There Was No Tomorrow

If there was no tomorrow, I would feel such sorrow that I would want to die. But I still believe that there is life for all of us on the other side. Tomorrow does not exist in eternity's realm, so we will live on. Aug. 22, 2019

A lot of beauty and insight grew from your initial words that we laughed about. I noticed he gave this second place so it kept you in place - I didn't/haven't yet read any other entries. Loved the phone giggles we had about this. Love, CayCay

Sometimes I agree with the notion that all time is happening simultaneously. Your poem reminded me of that when it said "Tomorrow does not exist in eternity's realm." Very thought-provoking poetry, Andrea. Congratulations on your well-deserved placement in S.O.'s contest!

I'm so glad you got that last part. I believe it has to be true. It also helps explain Mandela Effects (to a certain extent).

Not seen an etheree for a while, the first two lines I believe many would feel..

The first two lines just cause my mind to reel. The contrary sense of their meaning. Truly makes one contemplate the actuality of our faith in the beyond. Which you so viably address in the rest of the poem. <3

Eternity is something to ponder. There is a song by the Moody Blues - I believe it is called Eternity Road. Maybe there is an afterlife! Powerful words! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

Perish the thought it would ever happen Andrea, but who knows maybe it could. Good luck. Tom. P.S. Funny thing, called earlier and there were two entries with nothing in them, maybe a glitch my end.

Time is such a burden in this life. I really hope it does not exist in the after life. Very lovely Andrea. Got this in by the skin of your teeth, didn't you! : ) xxoo

I heard a theory about time that said we are looking at it wrong. It's just one big thing and it does not move backwards or forwards. who knows. this could be the reason Mandela effects are possible!! (if someone has figured out "time")
