If There Was Just One Thing I Could Change The Decline And Fall of Man

Metamorphosis of Man If there was only one wish That I was allowed, It would be to go back In time, to the origins of man, To remove the gene, That nurtures Man's hate And journey as one, Through our own pearly gates , If there was only one wish That I was allowed, I would summon the heavens Transcending the clouds, And I would replace this life, For one not yet not known With a blanket of love , With a dome covered shroud . If there was only one wish That I was allowed, I would be the mind And the heart that Only shone light, I would be the cradle, That rocks our world to sleep, I would be the eyes and ears Of listened foresight. I would happily surrender, Everything I now own, And watch my world turn from crystal to sand. I would wait for a sign. For time to reset. But if I could change one thing, It would be, The Decline and Fall of Man.

Hello again , man needs to be reprogrammed and for the hate , greed , evil to be removed for good , so that we can all see the good and the love in one another, and mans colour, religion, sexuality or seen through the same eyes , as equal . Thanks again for messaging and I'm glad you liked the poem . Daniel

Awesome poem and congrats on your placement Daniel. Yes, if we could somehow alter Adam's choice what a different world it would be. I still believe Eden is in store. Hang in there ...

truly a profound and mesmerizing poem, Daniel. I sense your authentic passion "To remove the gene, That nurtures Man's hate." Oh if wishing could make it so. Hate seems so unnecessary and illogical. Have never been able to accept it as a reality. Nicely done and powerful poem, Daniel. Have a great evening, Sara
