If She Could Die So Could I

too numb to cry too injured to eat too suspicious to hug how much sorrow can a person take my inside tears shut us down my throat swallowed concrete tears too much too soon too startled, too horrified, too terrified if she could die, so could I so could any of us It was a scary moment

But, that is truth, Caren. I think it smacks us upside the head when we see a friend die. Richard was such a wonderful person, a BSN, with a heart of gold. Why him? Five years younger than me!

Why do babies die? Why do toddlers die? Why do twenty year old women get murdered? The whys continue, and I doubt we will ever understand them.
