If only I could love you (Lyrical adaptation of Becca Teagan's poem) If only I could love you... I'd love you with the strength of a million dreams My raging rains of passion would flood your streams If only I could love you... My storms would blow the leaves from off your tree expose you so you'd share your soul with me If only I could love you... If only I could love you... Chorus If only I could love you... I'd love you like I did in a million dreams our love would keep bursting at the seams I'd devour you like peaches and cream If only I could love you... If only I could love you... I hear the longing of love in your lyrics John--but I also hear the hesitation in "If only I could love you". That is how it goes in the world of romance sometimes. Kudos to you and Becca for this stunning write.
