If I were the one you made the star of your dreams
~ if the mere thought of me lit up your world,
brought a sense of peace to your life
and drew on your face a reassuring smile…
Would you dare show me your colours
or would you let chance pass you by
and not tell a soul, least of all me?
How long could you hush it and keep it a secret
~ prolly until the end and death do us part?
If truly I were your love, why would you not
sing me a song or write me a sonnet?
