If I wrote you a song to show you how I feel Would love in verse be enough to heal Would soft words sung in sweet serenade Erase some of the mistakes I’ve made If thoughts were sonnets A chorus to endear Could you know somehow of emotions sincere If I wrote you a song Would you listen, my friend Could you hear a voice of love without end
