If I Were Immortal

If I were immortal - Will I be feared of death? Will I fix target-date, To end all tasks at hand? Will I, then, blame my fate? If I were immortal - Will faith remain my norm? Will justice have its place? Will fairness, in me, thrive? Will love become my base? If I were immortal - When all such fill the earth, Will the planet bear all? When the old fill the space, Where will the newborns crawl...? If I were immortal - I must live each minute, Spark of the God supreme, Must light up my whole life; Light for all! Life should gleam...! 18 April 2022

If you were immortal you could do many things over, but its this one lifetime that counts my dear, make it matter as much as you can, :)
