If Everyone Had Their Needs Met

If people were all polite could we stand it? What if drivers kept saying “after you” at the stop signs? Could we deal with it? If people made a special point to care about strangers Would they open up their homes to them? Would they buy them a car and provide gas? What about insurance? What if the people could not afford insurance? Is there someone else who would step up? Is insurance necessary? Many do not have it any more. They do not seem any the worse for it. If people all had cars and gas and insurance Could we stand it? Who would we help? Would the world be satisfied? Or would we find something else to worry about? It is curious is it not?

Yes, yes, it is curious, Caren. I have thought of dropping my car insurance, but then....I wonder what would happen if I had an accident. Would I have enough resources to cover the damages? I don't know. So, I keep the insurance. It was only a fleeting thought, anyway.
