Idea
Idea searches for perseverance,
And smiles upon the hopeful beams of your mind
Chasing all traces of doubt with a heart ablaze
Idea will marvel at what others find in you ordinary
She will laugh at ignorant insult spat your way
Will humiliate the lazy lockjaw
The lividly caged lark,
Who speaks only to trip your feet with its dead coercion
Lose sleep in the glory of this truth,
That when Idea finds you,
Idea will be ever grateful
Ever indebted
And always open
Will always listen,
And never fight without righteous reason
Drape your arms around what has slipped away,
For it is so that the thought, the desire yet still exists!
Press your opening upon the surface of the unattainable,
And in time, the impossible will search for your own lips
Embryonic in its humble development,
Deliberate, maturing in its transformation
As you feed anxiously, forming new inspirations,
As you tread upon unusual waters that dare to suck the muscle from your soul
As you find meaning to the muck of my mastery
Know this:
Idea will end your enemies’ reign with each glimmer of every star
And in a moment, Idea will bring you and I closer
Fervidly, knowingly, and effectively
So that we may labor through many pleasurable births
To keep her smile alive forever
