She follows orders at the bank dots her i's and crosses her t's whether it makes sense or not -- She knows who she has got to please It's not the customer, that's for sure for it's crystal-clear that if it were She could jeopardize her job and pension adding to her work's inherent tension So, she purses her lips throughout the day hoping, sincerely, that she needn't say I'd like to help you, but I simply can't I must follow orders at the bank

This is the part that is annoying "whether it makes sense or not --" because it often does not make sense.

Good employee have to be good or loose her job. I found that out in my jobs. :) I was a bad girl a lot of times with my bosses couldn't keep my mouth shut when I saw the wrongs.
