Even the strongest of ice Can crack and shatter It’s only as strong As the frozen matter Water exists rigid Porous and slippery In great formation With serendipity The ice forms on branches Where it comes and cracks Bending the limbs down Making them cling with tracks A wall is formed Right before my eyes Whatever water does Frozen ice denies Russell Sivey

there is something about the frost (the mystery, the setting, etc.) that lends it to abstract thoughts...I enjoyed this splendid write, Russell... more!.. huggs
