Hi Annalise -- Oh my. I have just posted a haiku called 'luminous lace' written after looking at the sunlight coming through my frosted windows. We have had below zero degree temps here for the last week. It appears we are both experiencing nature's freezing touch. Very good haiku. I love your middle line. Love, Deb

This is very "enchanting and lovely" there is nothing more beautiful than a world "encrusted" in ice, so magical~~

What a vision you describe, Annalise! I would have loved to walk along those "encrusted pathways" with you after the storm to hear the ice crystals crunching beneath our feet. Magnificent haiku! Love, Carolyn
