Icannotwaittillspringtimesymdromeitis
Let winter be gone for me, within I beg, crave, and plea.
Time to move on to spring; for flowers to bloom, birds to sing.
The mimosa to bud pink or white, flood faint fragrance in the night.
The moon and stars to glow, shine so brilliant on earth below.
Children need to get out to play, feel the sun and the ocean spray.
Sense warm winds blow their hair, soft kiss of cool night air.
Watch fireflies dance amidst trees, displaying a nightlight to please.
Play springtime games in open field, until exhausted bodies yield.
I need a break from bitter cold, relieve myself from inside mold.
Sit on the back porch in the sun, warm myself till the day is done.
Draw or paint beneath tree shade, sipping on ice tea or lemonade.
Visit me springtime I request, omit the pollen I suggest.
