I Wrote You a Story
I wrote you a story
Not one you can see
It's jumbled in my head
you see...
It's got verses, and rhymes
It's all about us
but putting it on paper
has become a thing,
it doesn't seem to flow
It doesn't want to go.
It's a story of us with
an untold future.
I can guess a million ways
that this could end.
A million in one chance,
I could tell you the end.
But an end is not what I see,
its the jumbled mess in the middle
that I need you to see,
help me un jumble,
help me get the verses and rhymes down
I need you to stand beside me through the mess you see
an end to the story is not what I want to see.
