I Write This Poem

I write this poem I write this poem for you, and for all. I wish I could catch your tears in a bucket And put them in a wishing well. To show you I care in this harsh world out there. I do wish I could mend your aching heart. Fill it with joy to endure every new break. Give you the courage of a lion to face your fears. Take a chance. Do it all. There is so much waiting in every day born. I wish I had an eraser to wipe away scrolled doubt. Let you know that everything is going to be ok. Because hearts do mend and joy doesn’t die.
