I Wouldn'T Leave Him the Time, If I Owned a Clock Shop
Your ups and downs,
unacknowledged,
Why can't you see,
the damage it's doing to me.
Was he innocent once,
Heart open and pure?
Then anger and resentment,
at the sight of you,
hurt deepest by the one closest,
and couldn't give up on.
Self preservation,
spirit and soul at stake.
I wish you could realize,
the tears created in my heart,
Only you can heal now.
With the intervention of God,
showing you something important enough,
for you to look in the mirror.
Deciding to take a healing course,
bringing you back into my life.
