I Wish There Were No Fence Between Us
I wish there were no fence between us,
But until we can find a way to convince you to laugh,
Instead of filling your teapot with water boiled in anger,
The fence will have to stay.
I wish there were no fence between us,
But until you can enjoy the company of the less politically correct,
And not take our words out of context,
The fence will have to stay.
In the meantime,
We pray for your good health,
And will continue leaving our access fruit and veggies at your front door,
Looking forward to the day when you no longer see us as the enemy.
