I Wish Somebody Would'Ve Told Me

About life and people, the pain and the hurt. I never dreamed in a world of love and beauty, pain and hurt would blossom like an evil flower. How can you say you are my friend, then stab me in the back. Jealousy only makes you turn mean, then you turn many shades of green. Your golden halo turns to solid tin, since your true self has come out. I am a peaceful person, asking for peace and love in my life. Guess asking is all I can do, in reality it will not always come true. Date Written:3/7/2023 "4 Place"

this is a very honest write. Some times friends do turn and mostly scape goat and take their angst out on others. I have a few of those long term ones and actually have to give them a "time out" some times. Try not to let others hurt you dear which is easier said than done. Best wishes.

Sometimes we fall into friendship too easily. We trust a little too much, maybe out of kindness, maybe out of need,....but if the scales are tipping then you must heed. ... If its becoming one sided, ... then you must be guided,.. to ease off the friendship for a while, ... so you can continue to smile. Lovely Poem Paula. Very relatable.
