Pages are falling,
Words are floating down, away;
Blood is dripping from my soul;
Cannot take the pain,
Of unkind words and sharp swords;
The petals of my rose fold.
Inside, I will dwell,
Safe from all reality;
Where I will not feel the stabs;
I will dip my pen,
And write poetry in blood;
Oh, so broken is this heart.
