I Will Fight
I was strong until I almost wasn't.
I was strong until the weight of my world overwhelmed me.
Brought me to my knees.
Almost crushed me.
I was strong until I almost wasn't.
I could breath until I almost couldn't.
I could breath until the walls around me
Started closing in.
Air thick with sadness
Almost suffocating me.
I could breath until I almost couldn't
I could see until I almost couldn't.
I could see until darkness filled my space.
Blinding me with fear.
Almost losing my way.
I could see until I almost couldn't.
I will fight until I almost can't.
The weight of my world I will still carry.
The air, though thick, I will still breath.
The light in the dark I will still see.
I will fight because I can.
