I Will Be More Open

In 2020 I will be better than I was in 2019 I will be less ready to be angry, more ready to love I will be more charitable when someone double crosses me And will take things in the best way possible I will whisk my temper away from those it might hurt And eliminate it through painting, poetry, and art. In 2020 I will be less eager to think I am being wronged, And more grateful at all of the rights that come my way. In 2020 I will be a better me, less ready to argue. And I will drop out of politics all together, for they divide And if there is one thing I do not need in my life it is strife and stress. In 2020 I will be more relaxed, more open, and more willing.
