I Welcome Your Non-Attention
My thoughts are like a copper dinner bell
That is older and rusted and has fallen off her perch
in the belfry tower
My thoughts are sitting angrily next to their stand
Not ringing not chiming. A total waste of time,
and mad as chopped up horses
My thoughts are irritated today,
Waiting for someone to say the wrong thing or give the wrong look
So I can check and see if I have any niceness left
But I do not think I do
So stay away from the bell tower today
Run from me gladly.
I fully understand
And welcome your
non-attention.
