I Was Always Told
A gentle kiss will make it feel better;
I was always told as a child growing up.
Did it really or did it matter?
As a pup, you believed what they made-up.
I was always told as a child growing up;
taking without permission is stealing.
As a pup, you believed what they made-up.
A sweet kiss I stole while she lay sleeping.
Taking without permission is stealing.
I took her by the hand made her my wife.
A sweet kiss I stole while she lay sleeping.
Nights filled with slumber, her lips devour my life.
I took her by the hand made her my wife.
Did it really or did it matter?
Nights filled with slumber, her lips devour my life,
a gentle kiss will make it feel better.
