"THOSE THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH, THEY SHALL RISE UP WITH WINGS AS AN EAGLE." Isaiah 40:31-32
When times are hard and skies are grey,
A wise man bows his head to pray,
Remembering The Savior's plight,
How brave He stood before their sight,
To give example to us all,
Not all who die in failure fall;
For those who cleave unto The Lord,
Though they fall before the sword,
Heaven's gates will open wide,
And He will usher them inside.
I trust in You Lord Jesus fair,
And ask that You will hear my prayer.
Give me Your strength and saving grace,
And help me Lord to run my race.
I know I'm not a worthy servant,
And often You have found me errant.
Give me courage, Lord I pray,
And carry me on that last day;
For my trust lies in You alone,
Please come for me and take me home.
