I Thought of You

Author Dana Redricks January 17, 2023 This morning when I awoke I immediately thought of you, and how you brightened my day and sparked a fire inside of me. This fire made me want to do better. I'm writing this letter to you, because you have been a true friend through and through. You were there on those cold nights, and even though you were so far away I felt nearer to you than anyone could imagine. Truly you are God sent. You made me feel complete. You are the sister I wish I had, and who really gets me. You often help me to see things from a different perspective. You have become part of my reality. Hearing your voice just makes me feel free. Even when you're upset at me, I still feel that you really love me, and I love you just the same. Winter, summer, and fall. You watched me rise, and often fall, but through it all you remained a faithful friend indeed. I hope you know how much you mean to me. I want you to know that you are more beautiful than a blossom from a cherry tree. More sweeter than honey from bumble bees. I thank you for being part of my life. We have seen our many share of storms, but yet we have overcome them. I know it was truly God Who brought us together, and I pray we never part. Just know that you will always have a place in my heart.
