I Still Don'T Know Who That Is
I should pack
But that means I'll have decided
Who to be
I want to linger longer
In the zone of imagination
Assembling who I currently am
Into a case
Always feels jarring
A visual, artistic expression
Of a person I am not
Yet I assembled every item
I'll look at it and feel disappointed
I suppose I'm also at the point
Where I could assemble
An accurate representation
Of my internal self
I have all the pieces for both
Surely it should be easier
(It's not)
I wonder if other people pack
Odd outward inexpressions of themselves
Even when going on holiday
