I Shall Grow Willows Around My Cottage

I shall grow willows around my cottage And pine, Sparrows will built their nests And live there peacefully. In the mornings they will cheer in joy And on some summers’ evenings When I be in mood When will be full moon We’ll watch it rising silently in the forest side Listening to their slowing stopping clamor. I’ll share with you the blissful moments I have ever lived With her… How she and I would walk for years Hand in hand In that afar vale amid the forests In glory and in joy. As that poet had imagined A scotch farmer following his ploughs Along the mountainside. Then you shall console me all the beautiful evenings Washing my eyes, rubbing my hair, Kissing on lips and cuddling close.
