I See You For You
I See You For You
I see you, not like no other may see you
A flower, that blooms in the center of a dark room
Consumed by your beauty
Truly a breath of fresh air, while others stare
Torn from the woven fabrics of the world today
To see grace within your being
Seeing the tenderness of your heart
Just to embrace the love that is you
Fade from sight as long as I have you wrapped within the light
Arms stretched out to welcome you to me and me to you
Truth is the moment that, I gazed into your eyes, no surprise of how time slipped away
Caught in the wind, whispering its mellow song in your ear.
Knowing nothing quite so sweet, quite so real, and so beautiful.
For I’m with you, only to keep, which was kept away for so long.
Strong are these words that describe the feelings, which flow through your petals
You are that precious metal that shines forever in the night.
Taken flight, are our souls combined as one.
I see you for you.
