I Say Hello

The woodpecker chirps To announce its arrival Happily eating suet A nice visitor Seems to know me more each day As I watch it fly away, Soon it will return With that chirp, to let me know I am back – I say hello Heidi Sands 10/30/21

I am reminded of the Beatles song: 'You say goodbye, but I say hello. Hello, hello! I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello.' ~ Little Birdie

Ahh!! That would be interesting to have a Woodpecker eating from the suet treat. Enjoyed reading your work. Your visit to my page was uplifting. Sara

I really like this. Wild birds are smarter than we give them credit for. I like to feed birds too and have often fed them in the parking lot at work. They got so they know me and watch for me every day. When I come out to leave work for home they follow me to my truck because they know there is bird seed in there. Good stuff here. God Bless, JB
