I question the presence of a god

I question the presence of a “god” Any god, your god or my non-existent god That is ….if based on the All knowing, all loving, all forgiving, all merciful etcetera god, gods or God In the midst of war We pray to these “gods” For peace We pray for the sick Then again We prayer for the dead We rejoice in the fable Of the Prodigal Son While exiling all Who fail to meet our “gods” Expectations I question the presence of a god Until I see a baby Hear the laughter of children playing Watch an old couple smile at the antics Perhaps I should not question the presence of a “god” But practice it

if I may so suggest ~ all beliefs and concepts pertain to mind, which is in duality, as it needs to be, to function in earth life. However, the realisation of truth is in the heart, which is in singularity. this is why the mind can never grasp the ultimate reality but we can imbibe it in the heart, in stillness. we then see who we are, as eternal living light. we know because we ‘see’ leaving no room for doubt.
