I Protest
Time freezes the moment
A child loses his father
At the borders
Is there any calming voice
That can compensate his dad singing him lullabies
Half-awoken in his strong arms
Story time with him
Beneath the snow moon
All the stars enveloped by thundering clouds
The moon vanished to nowhere
Sudden black-out of his innocent desires
The small demands and list of toys
He had kept inside his maths notebook
Is there any rainbow
That can paint the gray skies
That shrouds this tender life
Who has not yet touched
The age of teens
Why so much tensions on the frontiers
Of different countries
Can the rivers and winds
Change their nature of succouring life
Floating through different countries
I protest,I protest
This war at borders
Does any word hold the capability
To be the bandage
That can heal a family's lifelong bleeding scars
