I Only Have This Pen
I only have this pen
To show feelings that swirl with confetti
Deep inside of me
To express many other things
That have haunted me for years
My voice taken, at one point in time
Also a pathway to give to others
Who are not in a reaching distance
To share the shining streets
We all walk together
To let go of the silent screams
To love, to heal, to be…
I only have this pen
