I No Longer Chase the Circle of Me
I no longer chase the circle of me
around and around, making a lizard of myself
I have finally learned to let it come,
to stop forcing things, to breathe with the flow
Deep breaths and a reminder
it all does not have to be done today
There are many tomorrows
I have stopped beating myself up about the past
I cannot hit rewind, and worry is out the window
it never helps me in any way
I have given myself the gift of forgiveness
My soul smiles daily thanks to this wise woman, me.
