Oh, there are deep and ugly scars on my heart, that will stay forever until the decay of all memory; but somehow, yes somehow I must make this pain depart, forgive the spoken, mean words that leave me in agony. How can my family who claim love hurt me so deeply? Perhaps, it is because of that love the dagger plunged, however, inside of me is the power to forgive sweetly; oh, will I ever really, can I forget this love challenged. But, I must, I will and I do forgive their careless words, although no one will ever guess the pain that dwells within; and I will make a new family of friends and never go backwards, forgiving, yes this will set me free and only then can I begin. _____________________ October 26, 2017 Poetry/Rhyme/I Must, I Will and I Do- Forgive Copyright Protected, ID 17-9527-00-0 All Rights Reserved.

The power of forgiveness is truly a miracle! Yes, you must forgive, then you can heal, without that forgiveness you will have the pain fester within you forever! I really enjoyed your impressive write here my friend! This is a creative poem, full of powerful words to live by! What a superior piece, Great Work!!

So well written on behalf of most all of us! Sometimes we have to make up our mind and in time that will start the "fading away of the offense(s)." Then seeps into us sweet freedom.
