Sorrow cannot erase the laughter We shared while we were together Grief can’t remove the pleasure The silent joy and happiness we felt Sadness doesn’t color the inspiration In hues of crimson desperation The anguish cannot destroy the gladness Felt by our hearts when we knew The delight of sharing our blessings Living our lives in unison Always aware that we had one another For hope, faith and love That is sent down by God above Heartache like this is beyond words There isn’t one thing I can say or do To bring back your sparkle, your story, you So that we can share our time anew Still, my dear friend… Know that I would give Everything I have – to just have one more day There with you - where I would forever stay I miss you and wish you had never gone away!

This poem is so beautiful Regina. It reminded me of the loss of my husband. He always remembered to buy me a St. Patrick's Day greeting card which I miss much this year. Happy St. Patrick's Day my friend. Blessings xxoo
