I May Be Old

I may be old, But I have not put my initiative on hold, Or let my heart grow cold, And some of my moves are still quite bold, With more of my story yet to be told, So, keep this page free of mould, And you might find some pearls in what is written, By this old toad.

It is rather ironic how we spend out lives gaining knowledge and wisdom yet in the end nobody wants to hear what you have to say because you are old. Nicely expressed, David.

Thanks Daniel. There are still a few adventures in me yet. It is also ironic that our generation copes better with change than some younger ones and no childhood is ever perfect I grew up in family were reading and hobbies and friendships were part of everyday life, hence I am not just awaiting my final demise.
