I Love Those Mars Bar Nights

I love those Mars bar nights were the smudged blues and darkened greys hug toothless houses noises clatter through the silence looking to be heard Silhouettes drag themselves towards the dark wind takes a rest against skin Chill slithers past shoulders and dances on spine Frozen on the outside colder inside Cigarette sun trapped between finger and thumb Amber tints flourish on head betrayed by gravity Sigh song belongs to me tears wipe away the tears memories stored on a memory stick my charger does not fit Caught between the step and the drop
